What's new?
January - April 2010
I am wondering about time it seems to have slipped away, first term is a hectic time for all families. Reflection on past events make me smile, of all the anxieties we carry over any event in the past it seems invisible right now I find that a relief. Now on to a new year as luck has it I have been slipped in to a diploma of fine arts, I did anticipate about 6 years of study to achieve this but like magic I am not required to do this many years!! Now I find myself slipping into work mode and just on that edge of coping sad no more holiday lazy day's. You will see quite a few new paintings I have just uploaded thank you 'L' I feel privileged work comes my way my paintings will change from custom requests to some independent art of mine, I will take some time out soon to label the art and keep you up to date.

Hi to all, looking forward to a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Wow! I have been very busy! Firstly, congratulations to my beautiful daughter "B"!! She won third prize in the Archdiocese of Sydney, Christmas Story Art Competition on show at St Mary's Cathedral.
I have completed putting together my end of year drawing assessment - a big challenge, with so many gifted artists at the school - AMAZING!! I'm very lucky to have been chosen as a participant for the next Art Show at the 'See St Gallery', in Meadowbank in 2010 www.sydneygalleryschool.com.au. I'll keep you updated and post photos here of this evening.

My divine daughter "F" and Nonna with her work chosen to show from over a thousand entries at Mosman Youth Art show. The judge for the night was the Curator from the 'Brett Whitely' Art Gallery and the Mayor of this region what a great night, my little ones enjoyed the catering and music as always!! A proud moment.
"F" and her entry into the North Sydney Art show it was themed aspects of North Sydney she came up with the idea to draw hands and the personalities that they express so we checked out a few cafe's very hard work! and this is what she came up with - clever girl - it was another great show.
A great Government program for youths in need at the YMCA they loved getting their hands messy with lots of fun, painting the Mural and congrats to the girls! We put in a huge effort to get a collection of paintings together to put on show at the YMCA end of year presentation! Pics coming soon!!

"See Street Gallery" I walked around very proud at the amazing work produced by the students at Sydney Gallery School with my boys "M" and "R" even if they were more interested in the catering than the art, they were intrigued by the beaded ants and the drawings of women (boys!) I never thought for a minute that I would be awarded first place for my sculpture. It's all here for you to see just down load this file and see a pic of me and my sons.

WOW!! My new website is off the ground! I've finally done it! After much procrastinating (on my part) and encouragement (by my cousin) I have bitten the bullet and made it real! From time to time, I'll make notes on what's a new, exhibitions I'll be at so that you can come and visit me. So make yourself a cuppa, pull up a chair and stop by and see what's new. To stay in touch with updates, feel free to join my mailing list (no one else has access to it but me) so that I can keep you informed of up-coming exhibitions or new designs. Thanks again for your interest!
Warmly, Antonia xxx
